Garry Dixon of Millstadt, Illinois passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at his home, having attained the age of 66 years, 3 months and 17 days.

Born in Eminence, Missouri on December 15, 1948, he was the son of Charlie O. and Thelma M. Dixon, nee Counts. He was united in marriage to Joyce S. McKinney on November 27, 1966 in Emminence, Missouri.

Mr. Dixon was a union mechanic in the trucking industry.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Charlie O. and Thelma M. Dixon; his brothers, Walter Dwain Dixon and Edward Ray Dixon.

Surviving are his wife, Joyce S. Dixon of Millstadt, Illinois; his daughter, Susan Fowler of Dupo, Illinois; his brothers, Howard Eugene 'Gene' (Jackie) Dixon of Eminence, Missouri, Billy Darrell (Vicki) Dixon of St. Louis, Missouri, Caroll Franklin Dixon of Eminence, Missouri and Larry (Joyce M.) Dixon of Mountain View, Missouri; his sister, Carolyn Sue (Phil) Jakeman of Eminence, Missouri; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Bethany Chapel Cemetery in Emminence, Missouri.
