Frieda Wilhelmina Hulda Volk of Freeburg, Illinois, formerly of Belleville, Illinois passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the Freeburg Care Center in Freeburg, Illinois having attained the age of 80 years, 8 months and 6 days.

Born in Hoyleton, Illinois on August 13, 1933, she was the daughter of Fred and Pauline Rohlfing, nee Rathert.

She was a licensed practical nurse. She received the sacrament of Holy Baptism on September 3, 1933 at Zion Evangelical United Church of Christ in Hoyleton, Illinois and was confirmed in her faith there on March 30, 1947 by Rev. Stange.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

She is survived by her brother, Melvin Rohlfing of Centralia, Illinois.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 11:00 A.M.

The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
