Frederick H. Nunez

Frederick H. Nunez, 46 of St. Louis, Missouri passed away at his home on Sunday August 23, 2020. Born on December 19, 1973 in East St. Louis, Illinois he was the son of Frederick Jones of Millstadt, Illinois and Mary L. Nunez. Frederick was preceded in death by his mother.

In addition to his father, Frederick is survived by his loving children: Mary Lucy Nunez of Collinsville, Illinois, Austin Ward of Belleville, Illinois, Aaron Nunez of Edwardsville, Illinois, Andrew and Thomasina Nunez of Detroit, Michigan, Alexander Nunez of O'Fallon, Illinois, , Sophia Nunez of St. Louis, Missouri, Sarah Nunez of St. Louis, Missouri, Blake Nunez of St. Louis, Missouri, Kyle Nunez of Cahokia, Illinois and Ryan Nunez of Cahokia, Illinois. Frederick is also survived by his sister, Antonia "Maria" Nunez of Florissant, Missouri; his grandchildren, Noah Ayersman of O’Fallon, Illinois and Ezekiel Nunez of Detroit, Michigan and his girlfriend, Barbara Atkins. Frederick also leaves behind many beloved friends.

Frederick worked for many years as an accomplished landscaper. In his spare time, he loved working on his cars and had a fondness for racing remote control cars and boats. Most of all, Frederick cherished the time he spent with his beloved family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held on Saturday August 29, 2020 from 11:00am-2:00pm at Hoffen Funeral Home, Millstadt, Illinois. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00pm at the funeral home with Reverend Larry Ridenour presiding. Due to current guidelines related to Covid-19, face masks will be required to be worn at all times by attendees and social distancing measures will be necessary. Internment will take place at a later date at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Belleville, Illinois.
