Felix N. Reinhardt

Felix N. Reinhardt, 88, of Millstadt, IL, born Jan, 16, 1936 in Paderborn, IL, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2023.

Mr Reinhardt worked for Peabody Coal Company most of his adult life. After an early retirement, he spent time remodeling an old house and putting his skills to work on myriad of projects. He enjoyed the great ourdoors and could often be found driving around the farm on his tractor. He loved fixing things and giving broken items a second chance to be useful. After a variety of travel adventures, he believed the best place of all was his own backyard.

He was preceded in death by his his wife, Darlene, nee Vogel, Reinhardt, whom he married on July 2, 1956, daughter Dawn Reinhardt, his parents Alois and Mathilda, nee Schoenborn, Reinhardt Jr.; siblings, Mildred (Orville) Jakes and Edna Reinhardt in childhood, Victor (Stella) Reinhardt and Jerome (Agnes) Reinhardt, Lucille (Lee) Eckert, Vincent (Juanita) Reinhardt, Helen (Edwin) Cebulske and Virgil (Ruth) Reinhardt; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frederich Vogel III and Lydia (nee Reichert) Vogel.

Surviving are his daughter, Robin Reinhardt, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Graveside service for family will be held at 11:00am Monday October 23, Concordia United Church of Christ, Millstadt (NE corner).
