Eugene A. Rodemich Iii Md

Eugene A. Rodemich III, MD, 32 of Coralville, IA, formerly of Millstadt, IL, passed away on Saturday February 19, 2022. Born on September 1, 1989, in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of Eugene A. Rodemich II and Denise Colburn, and both survive. Eugene was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Sandra Reed, his paternal grandfather, Darrell Rodemich, his paternal great-grandparents, Eugene and Lillian Rodemich and his aunt, Jean Stoner.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Eugene A. Rodemich III and Denise Colburn, nee Reed, his stepmother, Dianna Rodemich, his stepfather, Brent Colburn and his paternal grandmother, Lorraine Westerheide; his siblings: Kathryn (Kash) Mitchell, Aaron Rodemich and Noelle Rodemich in addition to extended family and countless beloved colleagues and friends.

Eugene grew up in Millstadt and graduated from Belleville West High School. He then graduated from SLU, where he majored in pre-med. He then attended medical school at SIU Carbondale, graduating with his medical doctor degree. Eugene then started his residency at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics and specialized in Emergency Medicine. He was a devoted physician and cared deeply for his patients. In his free time, he enjoyed cooking, playing guitar and discussing politics. Eugene will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial visitation will be held at Hoffen Funeral Home in Millstadt on Friday February 25, 2022, from 4:00pm-6:00pm. Memorial service will immediately follow at 6:00pm with Pastor Darrell Weber, officiating.
