Edward Alan Polacek of Belleville, Illlinois passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at his home having attained the age of 60 years, 7 months and 20 days.
Born on August 12, 1955 in Red Bud, Illinois, he was the son of Robert and Patsy Polacek, nee Pickering.
Mr. Polacek was a mechanic.
Preceding him in death were his mother, Patsy Polacek, and his sister, Linda Davis.
Surviving are his father and step-mother, Robert and Polly Polacek of Waterloo, Illinois; his children, Richard "Rick" Polacek of O'Fallon, Illinois and Jamie Polacek of Collinsville, Illinois; his brothers, Donald (Mary Lou) Polacek of Waterloo, Illinois, Lawrence (Laurie) Polacek of Red Bud, Illinois, DeWayne (Lynette) Polacek of Baldwin, Illinois and Keith Polacek of Lawrence, Kansas; his sisters. Angela Polacek, Teresa Witt and Christine (John) Pfeffer, all of Waterloo, Illinois, four grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Graveside Services with full military honors will be on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery. Friends are asked to meet at Silver Springs park at 10:45 A.M.
