Dardanella Florence Doyle of Waterloo, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the Red Bud Regional Care Center in Red Bud, Illinois, having attained the age of 97 years, 9 months and 1 day.

Born on October 31, 1920 in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of Charles and Lucinda Scheibler, nee Swacker. She was united in marriage to Martin Edward Doyle on June 7, 1945 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Waterloo, Illinois and he preceded her in death on May 1, 2005.

Dardanella was a bank manager at the Associated Bank and a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Waterloo, Illinois.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Martin Edward Doyle; her brothers, Charles Scheibler in childhood and Eugene Scheibler and her sister, Sarah.

Surviving are her children, Mary Ann (Roy) Brand of Maeystown, Illinois and Judith (David) Radwick of Waterloo, Illinois; her grandchildren, Michelle Crawford of Kissimmee, Florida, Klaudia (Gary) Davis of Waterloo, Illinois, Terry Helmers of St. Louis, Missouri, Jacob (Emily) Brand, Jessica Brown, both of Waterloo, Illinois, Juliet Brand of Maeystown, Illinois and Johanna Brand of Taylorville, Illinois; her great-grandchildren, Nicholas Crawford of Waterloo, Illinois, Taylor Crawford of Maeystown, Illinois, Danielle Crawford, Jake Davis, Josephine Davis and Devin Brown, all of Waterloo, Illinois; her great-great-grandchildren, Zayne and Teagan, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Memorials may be made in the form of masses to Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Waterloo, Illinois or St. Marys Catholic Church in Valmeyer, Illinois or to the Humane Society.

Friends may call on Monday, August 6, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Creason Funeral Home in Waterloo, Illinois.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Waterloo, Illinois with Father Osang officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
