Catherine Beatrice Mask of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 at St. Anthonys Hospice in St. Louis, Missouri, having attained the age of 92 years, 6 months and 8 days.
Born in Lincoln, Nebraska on January 28, 1926, she was the daughter of Chester Edward and Jennie Ernestine Courtney, Nee Towe. She was united in marriage to Carl Mask on February 3, 1942 and he preceded her in death.
Catherine was a secretary in the trucking industry.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Carl Mask; her son-in-law, Charles Session; her brothers, Jack Courtney and William Courtney; her sisters, Bettie Jo Defalco and Nancy Sims; her brothers-in-law, Stan Townsend, Gary Hunt, Lloyd Sims and Richard Defalco and her grandchildren, Joe Session, Lisa Session and Rolan Mask.
Surviving are her children, Carol Session Carl E. (Rosemary) Mask, both of Saint Louis, Missouri, John (Debbie) Mask of Imperial, Missouri, Rolan (Debbie) Mask of Arnold, Missouri and Darren (Chris) Mask of St. Louis, Missouri; her sisters, Lucille Townsend of Galena, Missouri, Voncile Hunt of Kearney, Missouri; and Johnnie Faye Williams of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her brother, Tom (Pat) Courtney of Ponca City, Oklahoma; her sisters-in-law, Virginia Courtney of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Florence Courtney; her grandchildren, Debbie Ann (Bob) Price of Imperial, Missouri, Theresa Mask, Carl (Beth) Mask, Tracie (David) Williams, Christian (Shaun) Marquis, all of St. Louis, Missouri, Rhonda Lynott of Maryland, Darla Pace of Arnold, Missouri Amanda (Chris) Uzzell, Darren (Katie) Mask and Courtney (Steve) Desirey, all of St. Louis, Missouri; her granddaughter-in-law, Jessica Mask of St. Louis, Missouri, 31 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, her "breakfast buddies" and many friends.
A memorial dinner will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Genesis Banquet Center on Telegraph Road in St. Louis, Missouri. Interment will be in Lake Charles Park in St. Louis, Missouri at a later date.
The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt is in charge of arrangements.
