Belinda Judy Edwards of Waterloo, Illinois passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at her home with her family at her side having attained the age of 35 years and 9 days.

Born in Groton, Connecticut on July 17, 1979, she was the daughter of Wayne and Candy Newlands, nee Smith. She was united in marriage to Jason Edwards in Readsboro, Vermont on October 1, 2003.
She was a full time wife and mother, a girl scout leader and a member of New Life Church in Waterloo, Illinois.

Preceding her in death was her father.

Surviving are her husband, Jason Edwards, of Waterloo, Illinois; her mother, Candy Newlands of Elsworth, Maine; her children, Niamh Edwards and Owyn Edwards, both of Waterloo, Illinois; her sister, Emily Lane of Ellsworth, Maine; her sister-in-law, Michelle ODell of Edwardsville, Illinois; her niece, Hayden ODell of Edwardsville, Illinois and many friends.

Friends will gather for a celebration of life on Sunday, August 3, 2014 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the New Life Church in Waterloo, Illinois. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. at the church.

The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
