Arthur F. Miller of Waterloo, Illinois, formerly of St. Louis, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Canterbury Manor Nursing Center in Waterloo, Illinois having attained the age of 92 years, 9 months and 3 days.

Born on April 17, 1918 in Ohio, he was the son of John and Nora (Gravenstreeter) Miller. He married Anna Marie Hall on June 9, 1946 in Quaker City, Ohio and she survives.
Mr. Miller was an industrial arts teacher in the St. Louis Public Schools, a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps having served in World War II, a member of Grandview Masonic Lodge in St. Louis and the St. Louis Rock Hobby Club and was a volunteer at the St. Louis Science Center.

Preceding him in death were his parents, one daughter, Pamela Ann Miller and two brothers, Robert Miller and Levan Miller.

Surviving are his wife, Anna Marie Miller of Waterloo, Illinois; one son, Arthur F. (Deborah) Miller of St. Louis, Missouri; one brother, Gerald 'Mike' (Ada) Miller of Wadsworth, Ohio; his grandchildren, Jessica Miller and Brian Miller, nieces, nephews and many friends.

All services will be private. Memorials may be made to the St. Louis Science Center or Heartland Hospice and will be received at the funeral home. The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
