Arnelda Corrine Schremp of Millstadt, Illinois passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016 at her home having attained the age of 74 years, 7 months and 5 days.
Born in St. Louis County, Missouri on November 1, 1941, she was the daughter of Fred A. and Arnelda C. Heimos, nee Smith. She was united in marriage to Robert M. Schremp on July 28, 1962 at St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, Illinois and he preceded her in death on February 17, 1971.
Mrs. Schremp was a farmer, a member of St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt and the St. James Quilters.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert C. Schremp.
Surviving are her children, Michael Schremp of Fairview Heights, Illinois, Dale Schremp and Lisa (Fred) Fritzinger, both of Millstadt, Illinois.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or the donor's choice and will be received at the funeral home.
Friends may call on Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois and on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt. A prayer service will be held at 4:30 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt with Monsignor Marvin Volk officiating. Interment will follow in St. James Catholic Cemetery in Millstadt.
