Anna M. Bilger of Fenton, Missouri, formerly of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away at Fieser Nursing Center in Fenton, Missouri on Monday, January 29, 2018, having attained the age of 95 years, 3 months and 21 days.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 8, 1922, she was the daughter of Francis A. and Anna Baumann, nee Brehm. She was united in marriage to Edward J. Bilger, Sr. at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church on January 5, 1952 and he preceded her in death on May 18, 2006.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and her husband, Edward J. Bilger, Sr. were her brothers, Francis Baumann and Jude Baumann and her sisters, Aurelia Munari and Generose Kleffner.

Surviving are her children, Edward F. Bilger, Joseph G. (Phyllis) Bilger, Mary A. (Stephen) Burgett, Barbara A. (Edward) Clear, Katherine (Stephen M.) Cherer, Anita L. (Robert) Messmer, Albert J. (Rhonda) Bilger and Cecilia M. (Raul) Valdez, all of St. Louis, Missouri; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Bilger of St. Louis, Missouri, Kate (Brian) Topping of Washington D.C., Jean (Tim) Self of Las Vegas, Nevada, Paul (Kristi) Bilger of St. Louis, Missouri, Stephen (Ayisha) Burgett, Jr., of Arlington, Virginia, Amanda Burgett of St. Louis, Missouri, Sara Tosha Dry) Buck of Cedar Hill, Missouri, Eric (Tara) Bilger, Andrew Strange, Melissa Bilger, David Bilger, all of St. Louis, Missouri, Justin Valdez of Springfield, Missouri and Gabriel Valdez of St. Louis, Missouri; ten great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association.

Friends may call on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Chulick Funeral Home, 5611 South Grand Boulevard, St. Louis, Missouri.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11:30 A.M. at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, 4200 Delor Street, St. Louis, Missouri. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, 215 Lemay Ferry Road, Lemay, Missouri.

The Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
